We are exclusive manufacturer of the patented, proven Whipchek air hose restraint. This device prevents hose "whipping" during an accidental coupling failure on air hoses.
This is a safety device intended only for use on air hoses 3" ID and under, operating at pressures of no more than 200 PSI. We disclaim any other uses and accept no liability for the misapplication of this product.
This device was designed and patented in the early 70's and has seen widespread use since. Meeting MSHA requirements for hose restraint, Whipcheks are used in underground mines, as well as many industrial air hose applications.
These strong steel cables prevent hose whip in case of accidental separation of coupling or clamp device. "WHIPCHEK" reaches across the hose fittings to provide standby safety for hose. Spring-loaded loops in the cable ends open easily to slip over the couplings for a firm grip on the hose. Thoroughly tested with 26 years of proven service.
"WHIPCHEK" must be installed extended (no slack).
Maximum Working Pressure: 200 PSI for Air Service only.
